Moulded Polyurethane & Integral Skin Products

Universal Forme presents its range of moulded polyurethane products. With our patented co-moulding process, UFC can create a wide range of cost effective mouldings for automotive (and other) applications. Our unique composite moulding technology allows us to combine different materials in the same product to unlock new design possibilities.

Co-moulding materials include:

• Low density, open-cell polyurethane foam for softness, compression, sound absorption and NVH attenuation.
• Low density, closed-cell polyethylene foam for water proof barriers, thermal insulation and toughness.
• Medium density, closed cell polypropylene foam stiffness, waterproof barriers and extra toughness.
• Plasticised PVC skins for additional water barriers.

Moulded products include:

• Simple integral skin PU mouldings for NVH gaskets
• Composite PE/PU and PP/PU gaskets and seals for water barriers and NVH reduction
• Complex PU mouldings for NVH and noise reduction with a water-proof PVC skin applied.
• A typical application example is passenger car rear door fixed window seal, firewall and dashboard seals, some panel seals.
